DESCRIPTION:Presented by Charlotte Ballet\nWhen: Thursdays\, Jan. 8 – Dec. 10 (11am)\nWhere: Sugaw Creek Recreation Center (943 W Sugar Creek Rd\, Charlotte\, NC 28213) \n\nSenior Dance offers senior adults a weekly opportunity to reconnect with their bodies\, breath\, and sense of movement through a dance class designed specifically to support healthy aging. Each session focuses on improving flexibility\, balance\, mobility\, and fluidity – critical components for maintaining independence\, preventing falls\, and enhancing overall quality of life. \nDrawing from ballet\, jazz\, and improvisation\, the class invites participants to explore expressive movement in a supportive\, low-pressure environment.
