DESCRIPTION:Presented by Charlotte Ballet\nWhen: Tuesdays\, Jan. 6 – Dec. 8 (11am)\nWhere: Sugaw Creek Recreation Center (943 W Sugar Creek Rd\, Charlotte\, NC) \n\nSenior Dance offers senior adults a weekly opportunity to reconnect with their bodies\, breath\, and sense of movement through a dance class designed specifically to support healthy aging. Each session focuses on improving flexibility\, balance\, mobility\, and fluidity – critical components for maintaining independence\, preventing falls\, and enhancing overall quality of life. \nA key feature of this program is live musical accompaniment by a percussionist playing the djembe.
