DESCRIPTION:Presented by Charlotte Ballet\nWhen: Mondays\, Jan. 5 – May 18 (6pm)\nWhere: Ivory/Baker Recreation Center (1920 Stroud Park Ct\, Charlotte\, NC 2820) \n\n\nAfro-Brazilian Fitness is a culturally-rooted dance and fitness program that draws on the rhythms and movement traditions of the African diaspora\, with a special focus on Afro-Brazilian forms. Designed for participants of all ages and abilities\, this program blends traditional and contemporary Afro-Brazilian dance with modern fitness methodologies to promote holistic health and cultural connection. \nEach session integrates structured warm-ups\, isolations\, and progressively challenging sequences that enhance strength\, coordination\, flexibility\, and cardiovascular endurance.
